As an Apple Distinguished School for twelve straight years, Robert C.
Fisler School’s vision for technology integration through its 1:1 laptop
program has drawn international attention. Fisler School oers state of
the art technology that serves as vessels for optimizing powerful learning
through critical thinking. Technology is not a mere tool, but provides a
digital language to be used with specialized skills at all levels. Technology
becomes a critical and integrated part of learning and is used to solve
problems, especially problems that are undened.
At Fisler we understand that coding skills play a foundational role in
understanding how to communicate with technologies that allow students
to access opportunities in the computer science eld. Fisler’s focus is not
just with learning coding skills, but understanding a greater purpose in
utilizing tools and skills to discover pathways towards a passion,
accelerated academics, and/or future career. We oer a progressive build
of coding skills throughout the grade levels. State of the art equipment,
such as Apple Macbooks, iPads, Lego Mindstorm EV3s, and Vex Robots,
is essential in dening 21st century learning. With cutting edge resources,
students embrace the Design Thinking Model by using their one of a kind
